Pyongyang, September 21 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a 100th birthday spread to Kim Hwak Sil, a woman centenarian residing in Jasan-ri, Phyongsong City of South Phyongan Province.

Officials of the Phyongsong City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and villagers shared joy with the family and relatives of the centenarian.

Born into a tenant's family before Korea's liberation, Kim Hwak Sil had to undergo the grief of a stateless nation. She could lead a worthwhile life under the care of President Kim Il Sung.

The centenarian is leading a happy life in good health with many children in a modern rural house, provided by the state in the era of the WPK in which everything serves the people.

She, well aware that her family can be happy thanks to the grateful WPK and the socialist system, encourages her children to faithfully uphold the cause of the Party with creation and efforts at their worksites. -0-
