Pyongyang, May 24 (KCNA) -- Officials and employees of the Chongjin Tractor Parts Factory in the DPRK are making innovations in the production of farm machine parts.

The factory has fulfilled its monthly and quarterly production plans on indices of various kinds of accessories.

It has pushed ahead with the work to increase the number of skilled workers, regarding the reinforcement of its technological capability as the main link in its development, and make all the spaces at the production sites the place for sharing advanced technology and experience, thus achieving good results in the production of accessories.

Progress is also made in laying the material and technical foundations of production.

The factory installed a new medium frequency induction furnace and secured dozens of machine tools and modern experimental and analytical equipment. And it has introduced the technological innovations to increase the heat reserving efficiency of low frequency induction furnace, thus injecting vitality into overall production.

At the same time, it established a process of producing connecting rods and farm machines. It is now stepping up at the final stage the project for manufacturing an injector capable of making rice-seedling boxes in a qualitative way. -0-
