Pyongyang, November 4 (KCNA) -- New villages with unique architectural beauty have been built at the Nongpho Vegetable Farm in Chongjin City, North Hamgyong Province, the DPRK. The villages prove that the plan of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea to build an ideal society where all the people lead a happy life is being translated into reality.
The new houses were designed to preserve the features peculiar to the countryside and provide the farmers with good living conditions. There took place a ceremony of moving into new houses on the spot amid the emotion and joy of the agricultural workers who would lead a happy life in new houses.
Present there were officials of the province and the city, builders and agricultural workers. Pak Myong Ho, chairman of the provincial people's committee, made a congratulatory speech.
Then, licenses for the use of houses were handed over to be followed by speeches.
As a congratulatory art performance and a cheerful peasant dancing party were given to rev up the atmosphere of moving into new houses, officials visited the families of agricultural workers moving into new houses to congratulate them. -0-
