Pyongyang, December 31 (KCNA) -- The electric power industry field of the DPRK has built a solar power station with a capacity of thousands of kW in Ryanggang Province.

Thanks to the efforts of the Natural Energy Power Technology Exchange Company and technicians and workers of power transmission and distribution station in Ryanggang Province, the solar power station with a capacity of thousands of kW was successfully built to lay another material and technical foundation for the sustained growth of electricity production.

The workers in the electric power industry set an innovative goal to create more power production capacity by natural energy while stepping up the preparations for the inauguration of the solar power station. -0-
