Pyongyang, April 17 (KCNA) -- The vehicle-building industry of the DPRK is conducting a brisk competition for practical ability to develop new products.

A technical group at the Rakwon General Machine Enterprise has sped up the design of jigs and equipment necessary for manufacturing parts for large-capacity truck cranes. Preparations for serial production of water coolers for tractors are also being pushed forward amid the active mass technical innovation movement to ensure the machining accuracy and update the technical and economic indices by systems and devices.

Officials, workers and technicians of the Kumsong Tractor Factory have concentrated efforts on enhancing the operational reliability and actual extraction rate and laying a foundation for mass-producing rice harvester combines with improved performance.
