Pyongyang, March 23 (KCNA) -- Young people in North Hamgyong Province and Rason Municipality of the DPRK have volunteered for the revolutionary posts called by the Workers' Party of Korea.
Youth league members in Chongjin City and Kilju, Orang and Kyonghung counties petitioned their organizations to send them to construction brigades.
Youths in Hoeryong City and Myongchon and Yonsa counties vowed to advance into raw materials base stations and those in Kim Chaek City and Hwadae and Kyongwon counties volunteered to work at goat and other farms.
Graduate students of Chongjin O Jung Hup University of Education pledged to become information and motivation workers of the WPK who are stoutly defending the sacred lineage of the Korean revolution at the battle sites in the area of Paektu and firmly arming the Korean people with the spirit of Mt Paektu.
Those of Kim Jong Suk Teachers Training College decided to work at schools in mountain villages and rural areas and on islands.
Young people in Rason Municipality, too, petitioned to work at construction brigade and other posts.
Meetings were held on the spots to congratulate those volunteers.
Officials, youth and students encouraged the volunteers, presenting bouquets to them. -0-
