Pyongyang, May 17 (KCNA) -- According to Minju Joson, 20 city and county regional-industry factories of the DPRK, inaugurated in December last year, have developed and turned out hundreds of kinds of new products through a competition for developing new products and improving their quality.
The regional-industry factories in Paechon County concentrated efforts on the development of new specialties while increasing the variety of laundry soaps and boosting the output of plastic goods and furniture and improving their quality.
Those in Kim Jong Suk County, too, are expanding the variety of cooking oil, soaps, furniture, underwear, etc.
The Jangyon County Foodstuff Factory took technological measures to improve the quality of beer while turning out tasty and nutritious basic foodstuffs in large quantities with regional raw and other materials. And the garment factory in the county produces clothes of various styles favoured by its residents.
Regional-industry factories in the counties of Sepho and Cholwon improved their employees' skills to increase the variety of products such as sweets, cakes, soft drinks and laundry soaps.
New regional-industry factories in the counties of Taegwan, Jongphyong, Rangnim and Kilju are producing various new products conducive to substantially improving the living standards of their inhabitants. -0-
