Pyongyang, April 27 (KCNA) -- The Sunchon Limestone Mine in the DPRK has produced tens of thousands of more tons of minerals than planned after the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and carried out its national economic plan for April by more than 120 percent.

Its technicians group applied a method of producing various kinds of slide bearings by centrifugal casting to save a large amount of materials and ensure the full operation of excavators and thus contribute to increasing the output of ore.

The workers and technicians engaged in the preceding process of cement production conducted several rounds of big blasting in April alone to secure hundreds of thousands of tons of ore.

Family members of officials at the mine volunteered to manage road and equipment, thus contributing to the mineral production. -0-
