Pyongyang, March 25 (KCNA) -- Grand chorus performances were given by students of graduating classes at senior middle schools in cities and counties of South Phyongan Province of the DPRK amid the ever-soaring enthusiasm of the new generation to glorify their youth at the posts of national defence.

A grand chorus performance was given by graduating class students in Phyongsong City on March 24.

Officials of the youth league encouraged the students who volunteered to stand guard at frontline border posts, while watching the performance with other schoolchildren.

The performance began with the prelude "Our National Flag". Put on the stage were colorful numbers such as female group singing and chorus "Let's Love Our Country", appealing poem recital "Promise" and choral poem recital and chorus "For My Only Motherland".

The performers well represented the spiritual world of the younger generation determined to perform the exploits of loyalty during their military service, always remembering their school days when they learned to their heart's content as the happiest students under the care of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Meanwhile, graduating class students of senior middle schools in Sunchon City and Songchon and Hoechang counties of the province gave similar performances to demonstrate the high morale of the young successors to ensure the continuity of the strong country-defending spirit and noble patriotism displayed by the preceding generations of the revolution. -0-
