Pyongyang, March 23 (KCNA) -- Projects are being launched in the capital city of Pyongyang to further spruce it up with the spring hygienic campaign as an occasion.

Central District is pushing ahead with the repair and painting of roads, pavements, bridges and flyovers after repainting amusement implements, chairs and other facilities at parks, pleasure grounds and resting places.

Inhabitants in Sonnae-dong and Chilgol-dong No. 3 of Mangyongdae District are continuing the work to repair buildings and fences, put the verandahs in order and paint the exterior of apartments.

Pothonggang District is planting trees of good species at Unha and Kumran islet sports parks to improve the surrounding environment.

Moranbong, Sosong and other districts, too, are actively conducting the work to provide hygienic and cultured living environment. -0-
