Socialist Emulations among Provinces and Factories Reviewed

Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- A meeting was held at the Central Hall of Workers on Thursday to review the 2025 socialist emulations among provinces for putting production at newly-built regional-industry factories on a normal footing and among factories producing school uniforms, bags and shoes.

Present there were Ju Chang Il, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Han Kwang Sang, department director of the WPK Central Committee, officials of commissions, ministries, national agencies, Party and power organs at all levels and officials of the units participating in the emulations, trade union officials and labor innovators.

Ri Won Jong, chairman of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, made a report.

The reporter referred to the successes made in the 2025 socialist emulation for producing school uniforms, bags and shoes.

The report analyzed and reviewed a series of shortcomings and lessons revealed in the socialist emulations and set forth the ways for fulfilling the tasks of the first year of the new Five-Year Plan.

Then officials of the units that won the socialist emulations made speeches on their experience.

The standings of emulations were announced at the meeting and then, rotating silk banners and citations along with prizes were awarded to exemplary units and labor innovators in carrying out the national economic plans. -0-
