Pyongyang, May 5 (KCNA) -- Tilling of paddy fields is being hastened at the final stage throughout the DPRK.

Pyongyang Municipality mobilized all its forces and means and heightened the enthusiasm for the socialist emulation, thus finishing the tilling of paddy fields in the main areas in time.

The rural areas in North Hwanghae Province have met the technical requirements arising in the tilling of paddy fields.

South Phyongan Province secured spare parts and rationally used ploughs suited to different soil conditions.

North Phyongan and South Hamgyong provinces introduced working methods suited to the actual conditions and, at the same time, conducted review and evaluation to hasten the tilling of paddy fields.

Agricultural workers in Kangwon and North Hamgyong provinces pushed ahead with farming processes as scheduled, taking into account the soil tilt. -0-
