Pyongyang, May 13 (KCNA) -- The participants in the Ninth Congress of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea attended a course in Pyongyang on May 12.

Ju Chang Il, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, read out the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's teachings on the GFTUK work.

The course dealt with methodological and practical issues in developing the GFTUK into a genuine mass political body of the working class infinitely faithful to the ideas and leadership of the WPK.

Kim Yong Sop, vice department director of the Central Committee of the WPK, called upon all the participants to cherish deep in mind the great trust and expectation of the Party and play a key and vanguard role in implementing the decisions of the Party Congress.

The course stressed the need to set it as an invariable iron rule in building the trade union organizations to conduct all the activities under the unified leadership of the Party, and further intensify the work to establish a strong order and discipline in the organizations.

It also underscored the need for the participants to dynamically wage the organizational and political work to encourage all the members of the GFTUK to turn out in the drive to carry out the decisions of the Ninth Congress of the Party.

And it emphasized that the participants should bring about a radical turn in the GFTUK work by regarding it as their guidelines to meet the requirements of the times for comprehensive development and thoroughly embodying them in their activities. -0-
