Many People Visit Revolutionary Battle Sites

Pyongyang, August 15 (KCNA) -- A study tour of revolutionary battle sites in North Hamgyong Province, the DPRK is going on on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of national liberation.

In recent one month alone, officials, working people, youth and students of North Hamgyong Province toured the Kuksabong Revolutionary Battle Site, the Sangdansan Revolutionary Battle Site, the Phanjang Temporary Secret Base and other revolutionary battle sites in the province.

At the Kuksabong Revolutionary Battle Site, they recollected the undying feats of President Kim Il Sung, the peerlessly great man, being briefed on the fact that he convened a meeting of chiefs of underground revolutionary organizations and political operatives in June Juche 28 (1939) and made a historic speech "On the Tasks Facing the Revolutionary Organizations in the Homeland".

At the Sangdansan Revolutionary Battle Site, they keenly felt Kim Il Sung's love for the soldiers and the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters’ firm revolutionary outlook on the leader, unyielding faith and ardent patriotism, looking round the site of the headquarters log cabin.

They marched to the Phanjang Temporary Secret Base which is associated with the activities conducted by members of small units and political operatives of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army in the Chongjin and Puryong areas, true to Kim Il Sung’s line of all-people resistance.

During the march, they held a meeting to hear impressions of the reminiscences of anti-Japanese guerrillas, the disseminating revolutionary songs, etc. -0-
