Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- Following are major news items and articles in leading newspapers of the DPRK on Wednesday:

- On the occasion of the 114th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung,

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un received a flower basket from the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The respected Marshal Kim Jong Un received congratulatory letters from the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan and the General Association of Koreans in China.

Flower baskets were sent to the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill by overseas compatriots organizations, international organizations, foreign bodies and personages, families of persons related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle and Koreans in China.
