Pyongyang, March 24 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Monday in an editorial calls for more dynamically kindling the flames of the socialist emulation for implementing the policies of the Workers' Party of Korea among provinces, cities and counties in order to accelerate the comprehensive prosperity and development of our state.

It is the traditional leadership method of the WPK to give fullest play to the revolutionary enthusiasm and creative ingenuity of the officials, Party members and other working people and make uninterrupted innovations and development on all fronts of socialist construction by conducting the brisk socialist emulation, the editorial says, and goes on:

The WPK set forth the most revolutionary and scientific fighting strategy for turning the whole country into an ideal land of the people and is leading its implementation powerfully and certainly. It stressed the need for the provinces, cities and counties to conduct the brisk socialist emulation and achieve independent and multi-faced development.

When the socialist emulation is briskly conducted in provinces, cities and counties as intended by the Party, the ideological and spiritual traits of officials, Party members and other working people will be raised to suit the prestige and status of a powerful country, substantial progress be made in implementing the new regional development policy and the general advance for overall prosperity and development of our state be accelerated.

Officials, Party members and other working people across the country should positively take part in the emulation for implementing the Party's policies with a white gem-like loyalty and ardent patriotism to the Party and thus steadily increase the good results of glorifying a new era of regional rejuvenation.
