Pyongyang, November 14 (KCNA) -- Various units in the mining industrial sector of the DPRK are boosting their production while putting spurs to strengthening their material and technical foundations.

The Manpho Smeltery has completed the replacement of electrolytic bath by relying on its own technical force and is now pushing ahead with the work to raise the capacity of the dust-absorbing system.

The smeltery has also pushed forward with the work to supply necessary raw materials without interruption.

Officials and workers at the Munphyong Smeltery established a new roasting-sulfuric acid production process and are making achievements while waging a technical innovation for improving the operating rate of existing equipment.

The Jungsan Mine has carried out its daily plan at 103 percent by applying efficient blasting method and keeping the operation of mining vehicles at full capacity.

Officials and workers at the December 5 Youth Mine and the Riwon Mine are putting spurs to the drive for increased production and creation while consolidating their material and technical foundations. -0-
