Pyongyang, April 17 (KCNA) -- According to Rodong Sinmun, Ryanggang Province of the DPRK is striving to boost the production of building-materials with regional resources and improve their quality for regional and rural construction.

Shortly ago, the Ryanggang provincial headquarters for rural construction organized a show of finishing building-materials. Highly appreciated at the show were various kinds of building materials made by several city and county construction brigades with locally available raw materials.

As a result, brisk exchange of experience is being conducted among building materials production units and enthusiasm for introducing advanced technology is growing higher. Phungso, Samsu, Paekam and Kapsan counties and other regions are increasing the production of artificial stone boards, heat-reserving block, tiles and other building materials with locally available raw materials. -0-
