Pyongyang, March 8 (KCNA) -- A ceremony of awarding the February 16 Science and Technology Prize took place at the People's Palace of Culture on March 7.
Present there were Vice-Premier Jon Sung Guk, Department Director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea Choe Tong Myong, Chairman of the State Commission of Science and Technology Ri Chung Gil, officials concerned, scientists and technicians, etc.
The certificate and medal of the February 16 Science and Technology Prize were awarded to ten projects which greatly contributed to the economic development and the improvement of the people's living standard last year and the certificate of the prize for sci-tech innovation to four projects and prize awarded to them.
