Pyongyang, June 20 (KCNA) -- Successes are being made in the railway transport sector of the DPRK.

The Ministry of Railways and relevant units have organized and directed transport in a mobile way, taking measures to enhance the transport and traffic capacity.

Myongdang and Taegon railway stations under the Pyongyang Railway Bureau have shortened the loading time and rapidly ensured the uncoupling of wagons and the formation of train to make the trains loaded with freights leave without delay.

The crewmen of West Pyongyang and Sinsongchon engine service brigades have over-fulfilled their daily quotas by activating the loading, running and switching.

The Pyongyang Marshalling Yard Passenger and Freight Car Corps and Sunchon and Pukchang passenger and freight car corps have repaired freight cars in a qualitative way to ensure smooth transport.

The engine service brigades under the Hamhung Railway Bureau are increasing the amount of transport while raising the actual working ratio of locomotives. The engine drivers of Kaechon and Chongjin railway bureaus are striving to reduce the turnaround days of freight cars while waging a mass movement to transport more freights. -0-
