Pyongyang, June 20 (KCNA) -- The Namshi Livestock Machine Factory in the DPRK strives to produce in a larger quantity modern and efficient machines.

The factory upgraded its overall production lines, including casting, sheet metal processing, processing, assembling, plating and painting, to raise the productivity 2.3 times as compared with the same period of last year.

Tens of technicians and skilled workers received certificates of introducing new techniques in the course of technical upgrading of more than 10 kinds of feed-processing machines.

The factory produced and supplied more than 1 800 sets of equipment of nine kinds, including new-type feed cutters, feed-carrying trolleys and vegetable-harvesting trolleys needed for the operation of the Samgwang Livestock Farm under the North Phyongan Provincial Rural Economy Committee and the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm.

The factory lowered the production cost of castings by solving fireproof materials of medium frequency induction furnace and made innovations in the production of mobile combined threshers, while manufacturing efficient tools and jigs and introducing valuable technical innovation proposals. -0-
