Farmers of Tokam and Taedoksan Farms in DPRK Move into New Houses

Pyongyang, December 16 (KCNA) -- The praiseworthy entities of the implementation of the programme for the rural revolution in the new era have sprung up at the Tokam Farm of the Kaesong Municipal Rural Economy Committee and at the Taedoksan Farm in Jangphung County of the DPRK.

The modern houses of styles peculiar to the countryside are an epitome of our style of rural civilization through which the people’s dreams and ideals come true.

There were ceremonies for moving into new houses at those farms on December 15.

Present there were Kim Yong Gyu, chief secretary of the Kaesong Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, builders and agricultural workers.

Kim Song Gun, vice-chairman of the municipal people's committee, addressed the ceremonies. Then licenses for the use of houses were conveyed and speeches made.

After the ceremonies, the participants went round the villages. -0-
