Pyongyang, June 6 (KCNA) -- The Korean Children's Union marks its 80th founding anniversary on June 6.

On the occasion of the significant day, the DPRK people extend congratulations to the KCU members growing up to be masters of the future while fully realizing their beautiful dreams and hopes and cultivating their talents to the full under the care of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The respected fatherly Marshal shows boundless love and benevolence for the KCU members, regarding them as the precious treasures that can not be bartered for anything and as everything of hope and future.

He personally attended the celebrations of KCU founding anniversaries and the KCU congresses to congratulate them. He also called the KCU members, who were exemplary in study and organizational life, to the headquarters building of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, as well as labour innovators and meritorious persons, and had photo sessions with them.

He has paid the greatest attention to the growth of the KCU members who will succeed to the generation of revolution and taken measures to wonderfully build educational facilities and extracurricular education bases. Thanks to his care, primary and middle schools for orphans, schoolchildren's palaces and children's camps were built across the country.

School uniforms, "Sonamu (pine)"-branded schoolbags, "Mindulle (dandelion)"-branded notebooks and "Haebaragi (sunflower)"-branded school things are all associated with his noble outlook on posterity and future.
