Pyongyang, March 25 (KCNA) -- Koryo medicine pharmaceutical factories in South Phyongan Province of the DPRK are increasing the production, according to Rodong Sinmun.

The province concluded the renovation of its city and county Koryo medicine pharmaceutical factories, as planned, and put their production lines on a GMP basis till last year to ensure the mass-production of efficacious traditional medicines.

Those factories, with renovated production and office buildings and various kinds of production and analysis equipment and environmental facilities, are now developing new products and improving their quality while boosting the production.

This year, the production of traditional medicines has increased as against the past period and the variety of products expanded in the province. -0-
