Pyongyang, April 22 (KCNA) -- DPRK players returned home after taking part in the 2025 Konstantin Korotkov International Boxing Tournament held in Khabarovsk, Russia.

The tournament brought together more than 140 ace men and women players from 16 countries and regions including the DPRK, Russia, Cuba, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. The DPRK boxers won four gold medals, one silver medal and three bronze medals.

Kang Su Hyang, Hwang Un Jong, Ku Hyang Suk and Hwang Hyo Sun came first in women's 50kg, 54kg, 57kg and 66kg categories respectively.

The players, who returned home after glorifying the honor of the country, were greeted at Pyongyang International Airport on April 21 by officials in the field of sports, sportspersons and their families. -0-
