Pyongyang, October 26 (KCNA) -- Wang Yajun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, hosted a reception at his embassy on Oct. 25 on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the entry of the Chinese People's Volunteers (CPV) into the Korean front.
Present there on invitation were No Kwang Chol, minister of National Defence of the DPRK, Mun Song Hyok, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Pak Myong Ho, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, and officials concerned.
Present there were staff members of the Chinese embassy, the delegation of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the delegation of veterans and families of martyrs of the CPV and Chinese guests staying in the DPRK.
Speeches were made at the reception.
Speakers referred to the historic significance of the CPV's entry into the Korean front 75 years ago and the feats of the martyrs of the volunteers who devoted their precious lives to the revolutionary war of the Korean people.
They expressed the will to carry forward the glorious tradition and the great friendship under the strategic guidance of the top leaders of the two parties and two countries and thus open up a more beautiful future of the socialist cause of the two countries and the DPRK-China relations.
The participants toasted to the health of the respected Comrade
