Pyongyang, April 10 (KCNA) -- A national seminar took place at the People's Palace of Culture here on Thursday to deeply grasp and thoroughly implement the ideas and policies set forth by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un at the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Present there were officials of the Party and administrative organs and working people's organizations in Pyongyang, theoretical information workers of armed forces organs and the fields of science, education, literature and art, media and the Party cadre training institutions.

Many officials took the floor to read out their papers deeply proving the ideo-theoretical exploits of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is ushering in a new heyday of comprehensive national development. Among them were Ri Il Hwan, secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, Kim Hyong Sik, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly, Jon Sung Guk, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Ri Yong Sik, chief secretary of the Cabinet Party Committee, Ri Yong Sik, headmaster of the Central Cadres Training School of the WPK, and An Hyon Min, vice department director of the Central Committee of the WPK.

The speakers said that the Ninth Congress of the WPK was a significant political event which marked a new milestone in the sacred struggle history of the Juche revolution.

They added that to thoroughly meet the requirements of the times for comprehensive development is an urgent task for accelerating the development of Korean-style socialism and materializing the people's ideal earlier.

Noting that "The People Are God", the single-minded unity and self-reliance are the immutable idea peculiar to the Korean revolution, which makes it possible to confidently propel the victorious advance of socialist construction, they stressed that it is the invariable principled stand of the WPK and the DPRK government to defend peace and security of mankind and promote the building of a just multi-polar world.

It is a decisive guarantee for giving continuity to the longest building history of the socialist ruling party to firmly uphold and perfectly carry out the five-point Party-building programme in the new era, they said.

They called for dynamically opening up the greatest heyday of comprehensive national development, a new era of great changes, true to the revolutionary ideas and leadership of the great Comrade Kim Jong Un with single-minded efforts. -0-
