Senior Party and Government Officials Visit Korean Revolution Museum

Pyongyang, April 26 (KCNA) -- Senior party and government officials visited the Korean Revolution Museum on April 25, the 94th founding anniversary of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army.

Among them were Jo Yong Won, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea, first vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly, Kim Song Nam, An Kum Chol and Kim Jong Gwan, secretaries of the WPK Central Committee, and other senior party and government officials and leading officials of the ministries and national agencies.

The visitors went round several rooms of the Hall for the Period of Anti-Japanese Revolutionary Struggle at the museum, being briefed on the fact that President Kim Il Sung led the Korean people's anti-Japanese struggle to a shining victory under the uplifted banner of independence and self-reliance and thus achieved the historic cause of national liberation.

They recollected the exploits of the President, who clarified the line of armed struggle as well as the steadfast idea of independence that the Korean revolution should be carried out by the Korean people themselves and founded the revolutionary armed forces of Juche type to train the indomitable spirit and powerful strength for defeating the imperialist tyranny.

Looking at the photos of the peerlessly great man and historical relics and data preserved in every room, they grasped the noble fighting spirit of the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters who pioneered and advanced the revolution with blood, true to the ideas and leadership of the President, holding him in high esteem as the centre of leadership and unity.

All the visitors hardened their will to remain faithful to the ideas and leadership of the great Party Central Committee, bearing deeper in their mind the immutable truth that guarantee for the bright future of the revolutionary cause of Juche and the steady advance of Korean-style socialism lies in firmly preserving and carrying forward the revolutionary traditions of Paektu. -0-
