Pyongyang, November 2 (KCNA) -- Agricultural workers of the Chongsan Farm in Kangso District of Nampho Municipality and Unha and Jungak farms in Onchon County have reaped a rich harvest by displaying their high enthusiasm for scientific farming.

The Chongsan Farm over-fulfilled its plans for the production of rice, wheat, maize, soybean, vegetables, meat, eggs and milk.

The Unha Farm carried out its state grain production plan at 115 percent.

Officials and working people of the Jungak Farm surpassed the peak-year level this year as they did last year, and increased the per-hectare grain output by 1.2 tons.

Meetings for year-end account settlement and income distribution were held on the spots respectively.

Ri Jae Nam, chief secretary of the Nampho Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Ho Yong Man, chairman of the municipal rural economy committee, and officials in the district and county encouraged the farmers who made innovative successes in agricultural production this year. -0-
