Pyongyang, December 1 (KCNA) -- Rason Municipality in the DPRK concluded the project for remodeling the general foodstuff factory, true to the noble intention of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The remodeling of the factory in which its production processes have been automated and streamlined and its hygienic safety ensured makes it possible to contribute to improving the people's diet by producing dozens of kinds of products, including tasty and nutritious soy sauce, bean paste, soybean oil, sweets and cakes.

An inaugural ceremony of the Rason General Foodstuff Factory took place on Nov. 30.

Present there were Sin Yong Chol, chief secretary of the Rason Municipal Committee of the WPK, officials of the Party and power organs in the municipality and employees of the factory.

Speeches were made at the ceremony.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants looked round the factory. -0-
