Pyongyang, July 15 (KCNA) -- North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK had been long known as a region unsuitable to the vegetable farming because of oceanic climatic conditions.

In this region, there is the Jungphyong Greenhouse Farm which brings big benefits to the inhabitants in the province at present.

This large-scale greenhouse farm is associated with the devoted efforts of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un for the people.

One day in July Juche 107 (2018), he came to Jungphyong-ri in Kyongsong County of North Hamgyong Province with a plan to build a large-scale vegetable greenhouse farm there.

He personally acquainted himself with its site and unfolded a grand plan for the construction of vegetable greenhouse farm to supply the regional people with enough vegetables of different kinds in all seasons.

Watching the vast area, he said with pleasure that such greenhouse area would be enough to fully meet the regional people's demand for vegetables.

And he stressed that the greenhouse farm should be built at the highest level while ensuring both of its construction speed and quality since the Party decided to make a big investment for the sake of the people in the province.

Under his far-reaching plan and wise guidance, soldier-builders completed the construction of the Jungphyong Greenhouse Farm, the country's first vast greenhouse construction project, in a matter of one year. -0-
