One day in November 1968, President Kim Il Sung visited the then Pyongyang Soybean Paste and Sauce Factory which was newly built.

First of all, he looked round the production lines of soybean paste and sauce one by one.

After acquainting himself in detail with the production of soybean sauce and paste, he said he was very pleased to see the factory kept in good condition and stressed the need to always maintain a cultured way of production as it is a foodstuff factory.

Calculating the amount of a condiment necessary for the people on his pocket book at a technical preparation room, he said to his attendants that it is needed to calculate the production amount in consideration of the case that the people mix soybean paste and sauce in soup and dish.

Looking upon the benevolent image of the President who calculates even the consumption of condiments for the people's diet, the officials came to be full aware of their duty as devoted servants for the people. -0-
