One day in February 1965, Chairman Kim Jong Il met officials to give precious instructions on the people’s living.

He said to officials that the people entrust their all to the Workers' Party of Korea and call it the motherly party.

The word "mother" carries the meaning that a mother's sincerity and efforts for her children are untold, he said, adding that mothers would regard such great efforts as their pleasure and pride.

He earnestly told officials that if they always think of the people first and strive for their well-being with maternal affection and traits, there would be no problem impossible to settle for the people’s living.

Reflected in his instructions was the idea that all the officials should become faithful servants devotedly working for the people with the warm affection of the mother. -0-
