Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) -- One day in January Juche 97 (2008), Chairman Kim Jong Il visited again the Ryesonggang Youth Power Station No. 1 under construction.

Expressing satisfaction over the fact that the power station changed beyond recognition in one year, he said that the Kangdong Hydro-power Construction Complex made a great contribution to realizing the country's electrification in the past and that its proud tradition should be steadily glorified.

That day he learned about the housing situation of its employees and told officials that the state should build dwelling houses for them in a responsible manner. He stressed that the complex is a merited enterprise and its employees should not suffer from housing problem.

Thanks to his loving care, the employees of the complex were offered modern houses furnished with various kinds of household appliances in December that year. -0-
