One day in December 1967, President
Upon hearing that live chickens were on sale, the President told a salesperson to weigh the chickens.
The weight of each chicken decreased 200g on an average as compared to the time when the chickens were transported to the shop.
The President said that the weights of chickens would decrease as they were carried to the shop from the chicken farm and then were cooped up in narrow roosts for several days without being fed enough.
Saying that people including married couples going to work would be burdened with boiling the water to slaughter and eat the live chicken they bought, he stressed that the meat processing factory near the chicken farm should slaughter and freeze chickens and supply them to shops.
Thanks to the meticulous teachings of the President, a change was made in supplying chickens to the people. -0-
