One day in January 1975, Chairman Kim Jong Il called an official to learn about various plans made by the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea on the occasion of the 30th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

After attentively listening to the content of the plans, he said that they seem to be good and asked the official whether he discussed the plans with workers.

He told the official making no reply that officials should listen to the workers' opinion on the plans and their intention precisely is the idea of the Workers' Party of Korea and the requirement of the Korean revolution and that the WPK is the party which does thing desired by them.
