Great Man's Feat for Preservation of Natural Scenery

One day in April Juche 62 (1973), President Kim Il Sung heard a report from officials that they were planning to build a monumental edifice at the foot of Moran Hill.

He disallowed such construction project, saying that it may spoil the natural scenery of the beautiful hill. And he expressed deep regret over the planned project, noting that those officials had known well how hard he was trying to spruce up the hill.

The officials could not raise their heads with the remorse of failing to support his plan and intention to preserve the beautiful scenery of Moran Hill from long time ago.

That day the President said that any structure must be built in accordance with the geographical features, and personally chose its site in other area. -0-
