Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- Officials and members of the women's union met a war veteran at the Hall of Women on Thursday on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

War veteran Han Tong Su said that the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War was a shining fruition brought about by the brilliant intelligence and outstanding leadership of President Kim Il Sung and his deep trust and love for the service personnel of the Korean People's Army.

Telling the story that he unexpectedly met the President on the road to the grim front in October 1950, Han referred to the President who said that we are sure to win as we have the Party, the country and the People's Army and the people who valued the country.

Saying that the tradition of victory of Juche Korea is being firmly carried forward as it is led by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, another illustrious commander, Han ardently called for dynamically striving for the steady prosperity of the socialist country, rallied closer around the great Party Central Committee with one mind.

Expressed at the meeting were the resolutions to become genuine patriotic women who cherish the spirit of defending the leader unto death and the spirit of defending the country displayed by the victorious wartime generation and push forward with a comprehensive development of the powerful motherland with pure conscience and inexhaustible devotion.
