DPRK People Pay Floral Tribute to Statues of Great Leaders

Pyongyang, December 18 (KCNA) -- Officials, working people, service personnel, youth and students of the DPRK paid floral tributes to the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il across the country on the greatest national memorial day.

Laid at the statues of the great leaders on Mansu Hill were bouquets and floral baskets in the names of the Party, power and armed forces organs, social organizations, ministries, national agencies, units of the Korean People's Army and the Public Security Forces, and institutions, industrial establishments, universities, etc. at all levels in Pyongyang Municipality.

The visitors paid tribute to the statues.

Floral baskets in the names of KPA and PSF units, institutions, enterprises, etc. were placed at the statues of the President and the Chairman in different parts of Pyongyang including Kim Il Sung University and the Mansudae Art Studio.

Officials, working people, service personnel, youth and students in other parts of the country visited the statues of the great leaders in their residential areas to pay homage to them. -0-
