Pyongyang, November 20 (KCNA) -- A Russian government delegation led by Alexandr Kozlov, minister of Natural Resources and Ecology who is chairman of the Russian side to the DPRK-Russia Inter-governmental Committee for Cooperation in Trade, Economy, Science and Technology, visited the Liberation Tower on Nov. 19.

Present there were Yun Jong Ho, minister of External Economic Relations of the DPRK, and Alexandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK.

The guard of honor of the Korean People's Army lined up there.

The national anthems of the Russian Federation and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea were played.

A wreath in the name of the Russian government was placed at the Liberation Tower amid the playing of wreath-laying music.

The participants paid silent tribute to the memory of the officers and men of the Soviet Army who devoted their precious lives to the sacred war for Korea's liberation with noble internationalism, and looked round the tower. -0-
