Pyongyang, November 18 (KCNA) -- Amid the news of the successful conclusion of this year's farming being heard day by day, the Township Farm in Janggang County of Jagang Province and the Chaeryon Farm in Phanmun District of Kaesong Municipality have harvested bumper crops.

The Township Farm in Janggang County mechanized the wheat sowing and conducted manuring and cultivation as required by science and technology to harvest over 5 tons per hectare, thus proving with practice that a good harvest can be reaped even in northern mountainous areas.

The Chaeryon Farm, which has laid a foundation for developing farming on a stable basis by perfecting the overall irrigation system, had the honour of high-yield farm this year, too.

Officials of Janggang County in Jagang Province and Phanmun District in Kaesong Municipality took part in the meetings for year-end account settlement and income distribution and congratulated the agricultural workers on their labor successes. -0-
