Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un received congratulatory messages and letters from different countries on the occasion of his election as the general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The congratulatory messages and letters extended warm congratulations and sincere greetings to Kim Jong Un.

They stressed that his election as the general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea is an expression of the unanimous desire and boundless trust of the WPK members and all the DPRK people.

They expressed belief that the WPK and the DPRK people would achieve bigger successes in the new struggle for victoriously advancing the socialist cause under the guidance of Kim Jong Un. -0-
