Pyongyang, March 28 (KCNA) -- Various fishery units in the west coastal areas of the DPRK are conducting an intensive fishing campaign in the main fishing ground of Monggumpho.
North and South Phyongan provincial fishery management bureaus have increased fish hauls by proactively creating conditions favorable for fishing.
Mundok and Kamapho fishery stations have over-fulfilled their daily quotas by introducing an advanced technology of detecting fishing grounds and conducting an angle-shaped-net fishing in a scientific way as required by the flowing conditions in different waters.
Cholsan, Ryongampho and Unjon fishery stations are increasing the haul of fish per netting through active fishing after rapidly detecting the areas swarming with fish.
The fishermen of the detecting squad under the South Hwanghae Provincial Fishery Management Bureau, too, have made innovations in fishing while strengthening the coordination between fishing boats and actively coping with changing weather conditions and fishing conditions. -0-
