Pyongyang, February 16 (KCNA) -- Seminars on the exploits of Chairman Kim Jong Il took place in Cambodia, Denmark, Austria, the Czech Republic and Serbia from February 4 to 9 on the occasion of his 83rd birth anniversary.

Speeches were made at the events attended by political and social figures and masses of those countries.

The vice-chairman of the FUNCINPEC Party of Cambodia said that the Cambodian people are still now highly praising the great exploits and noble personality of HE Kim Jong Il as a great man.

The chief of the Danish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association praised Kim Jong Il as a rare thinker-theoretician, staunch defender of socialism and peerless statesman, and referred to his ideo-theoretical exploits and leadership feats.

The chief and members of the Vienna Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in Austria praised Kim Jong Il as an outstanding statesman who showed the road ahead of the era of independence and recorded only victories and miracles in the proud history of socialist Korea through his great revolutionary practice.

The first vice-chairman of the Czech Group for the Study and Materialization of the Juche Idea said that the reality of the DPRK fully demonstrating the might of a powerful country would be unthinkable without the devoted leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Il and the exploits of the great man would be kept deep in the hearts of mankind.

Personages of the New Yugoslav Communist Party and the Serbian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea said that HE Kim Jong Il is an outstanding leader in the era of independence who made immortal contributions to the socialist cause, the cause of global independence with his profound ideas and theories and energetic leadership, adding that the Juche idea, comprehensively systematized by him, is the great philosophy, great ideology and great outlook on the world and the ideas and theories of the great man serve as a compass for progressive mankind aspiring after independence and justice. -0-
