DPRK Embassy in Moscow Hosts Reception

Pyongyang, August 20 (KCNA) -- The DPRK embassy in Moscow hosted a reception on Aug. 17 on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

Present there on invitation were Alexandr Fomin, vice-minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, and personages of the government, political parties, military, organizations and institutions including the State Duma of Russia, the Federation Council, the Party for Peace and Unity, the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology, the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, the Orchestra of the 21st Century and the Center for Energy and Security Studies.

The charge d'affaires ad interim and staff members of the DPRK embassy in Moscow were on hand.

The participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before the art work depicting President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il standing together and paid tribute to them.

Then they looked round photos showing the immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for the development of the DPRK-Russia friendly relations, and their works and books introducing the DPRK.
