Pyongyang, October 23 (KCNA) -- Receptions, book and photo exhibitions and film shows were held in the DPRK missions in Shenyang and Dandong of China, Vietnam, Laos, Mongolia, Singapore, Iran, India, Indonesia, Cambodia, Pakistan, Germany, Romania, Bulgaria, Belarus, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, the Czech Republic, Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea, Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Mexico, Brazil and Venezuela from October 1 to 13 on the occasion of the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Present there on invitation were personages of governments, parliaments, political parties, organizations and institutions of relevant countries and foreign diplomatic envoys in those countries. Members of the DPRK missions were on hand.

Screened at the film shows were films and videos showing the advancing spirit and tremendous national power of the DPRK making the overall development of socialism under the leadership of the great Party and the happy life of the DPRK people.
