Pyongyang, May 10 (KCNA) -- A schoolchildren's art troupe of the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace on a visit to the Maritime territory of Russia gave the premiere at the Maritime Territorial Branch of the Mariinsky Theatre of Russia on May 5.
Among the audience were Oleg Kozhemyako, governor of the Maritime Territory Administration, personages of the government, legislative assembly and youth and children organizations in the Maritime Territory, teachers, students and citizens in Vladivostok City and members of the consulates of different countries at Vladivostok.
Jo Sok Chol, DPRK consul general to Vladivostok, and members of his consulate appreciated the performance.
Put on the stage started with prologue "We Are the Happiest in the World" were colorful numbers showing the bright and cheerful appearance of the DPRK schoolchildren and Russian songs.
The numbers including dances and acrobatics vividly reflecting the joy, optimism and mind of the DPRK children were highly appreciated by the audience for their beautiful dance rhythm and high artistic skills.
The performers successfully depicted Russian songs including "Katyusha" and "Happy Birthday" with clear voices and various technical skills.
A floral basket was conveyed to the performers in congratulation of their successful performance.
