Pyongyang, April 10 (KCNA) -- The 2026 AFC U-20 Women's Asian Cup is under way in Thailand.

Divided into three groups, twelve teams will play league matches, and winners and runners-up from each group and two best third-placed teams will play knockout games.

The DPRK team in the Group B beat the Jordanian team 8:0 and the Uzbek team 6:0 and played the last match with the ROK team on April 8 (local time).

Our women footballers defeated their rival 5:0.

They eventually took the first place in the group standing and advanced into the quarterfinals, with nine points in total. -0-
