Pyongyang, September 13 (KCNA) -- A meeting took place in Tokyo on September 6 to mark the 30th founding anniversary of the Korean Youth Commercial Association in Japan (Chongsanghoe).

Present there were Ho Jong Man, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), Pak Ku Ho, first vice-chairman and concurrently director of its Organizational Department, and other officials of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, the chairman and delegate of Chongsanghoe.

The national anthem of the DPRK was played.

Ho Jong Man made a congratulatory speech.

He said that Chongsanghoe was formed with the sentiment of patriotism under the instruction given the great Generalissimo Kim Jong Il to organize the Korean Youth Commercial Association in Japan on the occasion of the 17th Congress of Chongryon.

The respected Marshal Kim Jong Un in his historic letters to Chongryon officials and Koreans in Japan on the occasions of the significant anniversaries of Chongryon clearly indicated the road ahead of Chongsanghoe and led it to creditably fulfill its mission and duty in the vanguard of the patriotic movement, he stressed.

He called for glorifying the immortal leadership exploits of Chairman Kim Jong Il from generation to generation and further developing Chongsanghoe into a powerful youth organization creating a new history of the movement of Koreans in Japan in the great era of Kim Jong Un on the occasion of its 30th founding anniversary.

Then, congratulatory messages from relevant organs of the homeland were introduced to be followed by a report and speeches.

On the same day, a reception was given to mark the 30th founding anniversary of Chongsanghoe. -0-
