Pyongyang, August 11 (KCNA) -- Group A league matches for the qualification of the 2026 AFC U-20 Women's Asian Cup took place in Bhutan.

The DPRK team beat the Saudi Arabian team 15:0, the Bhutanese team 10:0 and the Nepalese team 11:0 and took the first place in the group with 9 total points, and thus gained the qualification for the 2026 AFC U-20 Women's Asian Cup.

The women's Asian Cup to be held in Thailand in April next year will bring together eight teams which came first in the group league matches and the three teams high in total points among the second and the host country. -0-
